Bad Mood

Lloyd Dobler- “Why can’t you be in a good mood? How hard is it to decide to be in a good mood and be in a good mood once in a while?”

Constance – “Gee, it’s easy.”

I keep repeating that quote in my head, hoping to cheer my sulky ass up.

However, you would be pissy if this weekend involved moving your home office

to this lovely space…

I have no life…

but I have to say a couple of things about Chris being voted off American Idol.

People, people, people. Don’t be sad or pissed that he’s gone. Trust me, it’s the best thing that could have happened to him. Now he won’t be roped into a cheesy pop contract for the next trillion years. He will be thanking his lucky stars very soon.

Seacrest out.

Breaking News

D and I just returned from IKEA and we don’t hate each other. Yes, it’s true. No eye-rolling, loud sighing, complaining or muttering of profanities. The entire time.

Actually, I complained once that my feet were swelling and maybe two or three times that the fumes from the Ristoft and Erslev textiles were possibly halting our unborn child’s development, but all in all, I’m pretty impressed with my behavior.

In other news, D has caught me singing the following songs around the house in the past 24 hours. Some more passionately than others.

Rhythm of the Night – El DeBarge
Don’t Talk to Strangers – Rick Springfield
The Final Countdown – Europe
Who Let The Dogs Out – Baha Men
