I Think I’m in Love — Adjust-a-Button
Posted on January 25, 2010 · Filed Under i think i'm in love · 31 Comments
Calling all pregnant ladies! (OR ladies and gents who might have over-indulged during the holiday season.)
Are your jeans feeling a little snug around the waistline? Do you feel like your stomach might explode when you sit down? Um, yeah. I might have that problem right now. Never fear! For I have found the answer. Adjust-a-Button.
This little adjustable button has allowed me to stay in my regular jeans up to my 19th week of pregnancy so far, and for that I am eternally grateful. Since I’m not quite big enough for maternity jeans and my belly does NOT enjoy Bella Bands (ouuuuch), I thought I was out of luck until I heard about these guys.
It’s really as easy as sticking a pin into your jeans, and the button is removable so you can use it in all of your pants. I can’t TELL YOU how much more comfortable the past few weeks have been with these buttons….well, how about I just show you.
Before:
Uhhh, getting a little tight. Sitting down is not the most pleasurable of actions at this point, and I’m beginning to feel a little concerned for the safety of my fetus. Oh noes!
After:
Dude, RELIEF. That is all.
Oh! You can also use these buttons to tighten a waistband if your pants are too loose. (Although, if that’s the case, you KIND OF SUCK.)
$18 for a pack of two. Buy ‘em here. They’ll make your tummy a happy place again.
I Think I’m in Love — The Tipsy Society

Reasons why I love The Tipsy Society (and you should to):
2. Recipes for all sorts of cocktails, Panty Dropper included.
3. They adore color combinations as much as I do.
4. The quirky and adorable picks always make me happy.
5. Most importantly, their tagline is “The things we can do with a little alcohol and a lot of internets.” Like I said, I THINK I’M IN LOVE.
If you haven’t checked out this website (written by four lovely ladies), you are really missing out. Definitely one of my faves.
I Think I’m in Love: Open Cardigans
Posted on December 18, 2009 · Filed Under i think i'm in love · 12 Comments
I would like to thank the fashion gods for creating trends that coincide so beautifully with my personal life. Take, for instance, open cardigans. With the appearance of my pregnant belly imminent, nothing makes me happier than buying darling cardigans that can be worn well after the bambino arrives. Just add my favorite pair of maternity jeans and a couple of Gap tees, and I’ve secured the majority of my winter wardrobe.

These vintage pieces sold out in one day, but I couldn’t resist showing you. Luckily, my waistline couldn’t carry these off for awhile, so life carries on.
ModCloth’s entire vintage collection can be seen here.
(Psst. I’m asking your opinion on the state of my bangs over here. Vote!)
I Think I’m in Love: Crocodile Creek Puzzles
Posted on December 4, 2009 · Filed Under i think i'm in love · 10 Comments
The Whoorl family heartily endorses these puzzles by Crocodile Creek. We have almost all of them – the vibrantly-colored illustrations are adorable and they are super easy to put together. Overall puzzle size is 20″ by 30″, and each puzzle piece is the approximately the size of a toddler’s hand. Best of all, Wito can finish them on his own, which gives mama some much-needed resting time on the couch.
Not to mention the darling lunchbox-type carrying case!
Is that the cutest or WHAT?
So, here’s the deal. These puzzles retail for $22 at most locations, but for some reason, Barnes and Noble sells them for $14.95. If you have a little one on your Christmas list, I highly recommend them!
