Could you tell me how the J-Crew dress really fits? On the model on the J-Crew site, it looks like an empire waist, but on the manequin (if you click another color) it looks like it hits your natural waist. Just curious becuase I love it, but am short and worry.
Can we safely substitute the suit for another pair of jeans for a college student? Haha. I guess I’ll need to invest in some more business attire soon for job interviews, though. Good list.

The fab 5 remind me a bit of Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style (I’d do anything Tim Gunn told me to do. *sigh*). Staples are so important…as I’m learning!
