This was my first Mother's Day (if you don't count being pregnant), so I had high expecations. Unfortunately my sweetie came down with a terrible stomach virus/fever and was sick from 2:00 p.m. Saturday until about midday Monday.

He did, however, manage to get me the perfect gift prior to getting sick. On Friday when he was home with our 10 month old baby girl (he stays home with her on Fridays while I'm at work), he managed to get her all dressed up and actually did her hair (no small feat when you see her hair!!!) and had our neighbor take her picture. Sunday morning I had an 8x10 of her waiting for me. Absolutely precious.

My husband took my three-year-old shopping for Mother's Day stuff on Saturday. Fifteen minutes after they got home, Luke (the three-year-old) asked me if he could have some cake.

I told him we didn't have any cake.

He said, "Yes, we do!" And led me straight to where it was hidden in the kitchen.

Hello Sarah! I just my updated pics for the FIRST EVER COUPLES HAIR THURSDAY (does that make us famous?!?), and then read this post about wittle Wito, and his Childhood Disease. Ours have had Fifth's for weeks!!! (as the incubation is like, 3 weeks long, each time we're thinking we're out of the woods, another one falls). It is so much like what Wito has, IT IS MISERABLE. Just wanted to send empathy, or sympathy, never remember the difference, and say that now, I'm so psyched for you and your ABC interview (not that you are overly concerned about a stranger's opinion...but hey, I'm tickled pink)!!!

Thanks again, I'm going to stop barraging you with email now,
