1. Who is this big boy? Certainly not MY baby.
2. I’m a little misty* today due to this small step in my parenting world. (YAY! But also, WAH.)

March 31st, 2008 12:24 pmOh, I didn’t sleep the night before my son’s first day of “school.”
It was awful (for me) and I stressed out over whether he would eat, if any kids would play with him, if he would miss me. He loved it, and has never looked back - I think Wito will have a blast.

March 31st, 2008 12:46 pmAwwww. That’s a hard first step but I bet you will both benefit for it. Try to enjoy your free time!

March 31st, 2008 12:54 pmOOOHHHHH YEA!!! I cried when all 3 of my kids went to the first day of preschool and I’m already crying thinking about “Continuation”…a little graduation ceremony they have for the pre-K kids on their last day of preschool before they head out in to the VERY BIG WORLD OF KINDERGARTEN! I can’t believe it.
As long as Wito is happy…you’ll be happy! Enjoy it..it’s gone in a blink of an eye.

March 31st, 2008 1:41 pmThe first day of preschool is definitely bittersweet.
I love the little wrinklies under his eyes. My son has the same thing and it just melts my heart.
He’s adorable.

March 31st, 2008 3:07 pmCongratulations on getting away for a few hours by yourself. I am just beginning to look for a weekly sitter for Charlie and am having such anxiety about the whole idea of someone other than a relative watch him. I know in the long run we’ll both be better for it, but that first time is going to be so hard.
How did he do?

March 31st, 2008 6:24 pmI cried for the first two months of J’s preschool. Then just when I got used to it it was over and time to start real school. That was hard too. I have never even had a babysitter for him, so it was really, really hard when he just walked away from me without looking back.
