1. Who is this big boy? Certainly not MY baby.
2. I’m a little misty* today due to this small step in my parenting world. (YAY! But also, WAH.)

Oh, I didn’t sleep the night before my son’s first day of “school.”
It was awful (for me) and I stressed out over whether he would eat, if any kids would play with him, if he would miss me. He loved it, and has never looked back – I think Wito will have a blast.
Awwww. That’s a hard first step but I bet you will both benefit for it. Try to enjoy your free time!
OOOHHHHH YEA!!! I cried when all 3 of my kids went to the first day of preschool and I’m already crying thinking about “Continuation”…a little graduation ceremony they have for the pre-K kids on their last day of preschool before they head out in to the VERY BIG WORLD OF KINDERGARTEN! I can’t believe it.
As long as Wito is happy…you’ll be happy! Enjoy it..it’s gone in a blink of an eye.
Misty is better than weepy. Weepy involves snot.
I love that shot of him!
They really do grow up quick.
so i am not so crazy, i can hardly put my little one down. i am sure it will only get harder as a little personality comes out. i am proud of you i hope i can do it when the time comes. cute pic.
The first day of preschool is definitely bittersweet.
I love the little wrinklies under his eyes. My son has the same thing and it just melts my heart.
He’s adorable.
He’s a cute little dude! He’s going to rock their world at Mothers Day Out.
Yea for getting some time for yourself! Go Wito!
Congratulations on getting away for a few hours by yourself. I am just beginning to look for a weekly sitter for Charlie and am having such anxiety about the whole idea of someone other than a relative watch him. I know in the long run we’ll both be better for it, but that first time is going to be so hard.
How did he do?
trust me, it gets easier!
PS – he’s cute!
What a little man! He’s so sweet.
What a wonderful photo! The first few times is hard but then it will get easier;) good JOB to him for NOT crying and I was JUST like you! I balled and was a total MISTY mama! hang in there;)
I cried for the first two months of J’s preschool. Then just when I got used to it it was over and time to start real school. That was hard too. I have never even had a babysitter for him, so it was really, really hard when he just walked away from me without looking back.
Holy crap, he’s a cutie! I just love his floppy hair!
I still cry when I take my kids to school.
holy GAWD he is so handsome.
