Stay Tuned For The Most Dramatic Hair Updates Yet!

Channeling my inner Chris Harrison (who, by the way, was my husband’s high school soccer coach). Oh, and while we’re on the subject, what’s so horrible about that Womack chap not picking either girl on The Bachelor? HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU, LADIES. (Further proof that I’m wired like a dude.) I cringed watching the “After the Rose” show last night.
DeAnna, let it go. LET IT GO.
Peace be with you.
Tomorrow I will be enjoying my Thanksgiving feast (all five courses cooked by yours truly, HALP!) instead of posting a new Hair Thursday, BUT I will post two of the best hair updates I’ve seen so far. One is the most improved and the other (Lori, from last week) is unbelievable. So incredibly hot. In fact, I think I shall make out with her for certain.
Off to the grocery store for the fourth time this week. Updates coming tomorrow morning!

November 21st, 2007 8:25 amI think the problem with the Bachelor outcome is that Brad was so freaking inarticulate that he wasn’t able to make clear to the two deluded ladies that he wasn’t that into them. After the Rose hurt to watch. Emily liked seeing baby Max, spawn of Trista and Ryan, though.

November 21st, 2007 8:27 amOh, Whoorlgirl, you had me at “he’s just not that into you.” WHY do women try to MAKE men love them?? It’s called dignity, try it out.
I would like to hear your Thanksgiving menu, please. Also, I have been unable to locate celery root; if you see any at the grocery store can you grab me some? Thanks.

November 21st, 2007 8:37 amI think some Bachelor watchers feel that the bachelor should have to pick a woman, even if he’s messed up in th ehead / can’t decide/ NOT IN LOVE / unsure. I’m glad he didn’t lead one of the girls on by proposing, or even dating her for a while before quietly dumping her like so many bachelors have done, just so the viewers would be happy (my sister, on the other hand, thinks that that’s exactly what he should have done to keep DeAnna from looking like a fool…who knows?).
What made me sad was how DeAnna was so sure that he’d come to the show and say he’d made a terrible mistake by letting her go and clearly he didn’t feel that way at all. I hope she finds someone who truly loves her soon (perhaps as the next Bachelorette?).
(I didn’t watch a single episode of The Bachelor this season and only watched half of the After the Rose show and all of a sudden I think I know it all? Apparently yes!)

November 21st, 2007 8:45 amI couldn’t stomach the Bachelor this time around…VH1’s Best Week Ever did a re-cap of one of the episodes, and the girl was talking about how she’s a devoted Christian, and next scene, the Bachelor is doing a body shot off of her - Devoted you say…to what exactly? I was cracking up at the comment with “The spawn of Trista and Ryan” - haha!
Anyhoo, Happy Thanksgiving Whoorl :o) Can’t wait to see the Hair Thursday updates!

November 21st, 2007 9:29 amI only watched the last half hour of the episode on Monday and was so glad I hadn’t wasted my time all season. I am kicking myself for forgetting to watch after the rose, but was so enthralled with Biggest Loser I totally forgot. Good for the guy for not leading either of them on, move on ladies.
Can’t wait for the updates tomorrow. I have an appointment this evening and am anticipating great things.

November 21st, 2007 12:26 pmYes, I cringed throughout After The Rose as well…. Yet, I did make the call 3 weeks ago that Brad would not choose either girl (though if he were to choose one I was going with DeAnna–something about Jenny and her laugh just killed me. I can’t wait to see the Hair Thursday update! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

November 21st, 2007 8:32 pmDude, I need more info on Chris Harrison as soccer coach. First of all, how the hell old is this man? I think of you as around my age and I guess I thought Chris was too. How was he your husband’s coach? Also, when he was upset did he declare your husband’s team the worst ever? Most exciting goal ever? Do tell! By the way, Chris is also the host of a show called Designer’s Challenge on HGTV, which is where I saw him first, so I was totally freaked out when I first saw the Bachelor. He uses way less hyperbole on HGTV.

November 22nd, 2007 11:23 amI carry a little notebook everywhere in my handbag. I recommend it: lists on tap, any time, any place! And you’ll never need to pop back out to the shops. Plus you get a rush of nostalgia when you look back over what you were doing or buying months ago: “maple syrup, chestnuts, candles” being a particularly warm and fuzzy example from Dec 23rd 2006. Yes, I date the pages…
