Just read a great tip in last month’s InStyle (?) (I’m really behind in my magazine subscription reading). Bobbi Brown (god I had to google that to make sure I wasn’t confusing her name with the OTHER Bobbie Brown – baby brain!!) – anyways, BB was giving tips about cream blushes and she was saying that if you were applying cream blush and then putting a powder blush on over it to “set it” – it actually works better the other way. She said that using a powder blush first, then applying the cream blush would make the cream blush wear longer. I happened to be doing it the “wrong way” and have noticed a big difference in taking her advice. Just thought I’d pass that along in the event your instincts were like mine. :-)
Oh, wow! Great tip, Sonja. I just got a free sample of the Nars Illuminator (Orgasm), and I already use Orgasm powder blush. I’m going to apply them according to BB’s recommendation now.
