Lucky Denim Bermuda Shorts

7

UPDATE: Due to a glitch with the code earlier today, the 25% off deal is being extended through the weekend! Happy Labor Day, folks!

I know I’ve professed my love for Bermuda shorts on this website in the past, so it may come as no surprise that I had to get my hands on these denim Bermuda shorts by Lucky Jeans. Frankly, I had no idea that the Lucky Jeans brand still existed, given the last time I wore them was the early ’90s. I fondly recall busting them out with my favorite semi-sheer patchwork blouse and Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Toast of New York during high school. (Either that or Rum Raisin. Do you all remember Rum Raisin?) Ahhh, the memories.

These shorts are CUTE. They fit well, the dark wash isn’t too dark, the pockets are perfectly placed and I find myself mumbling “I carried a watermelon” while practicing the cha-cha on my stairs while wearing them.

I’m thinking you should have a pair too! My very wonderful friends at Langston’s (who actually witnessed my early ’90s attire) are offering 25% off all Men’s and Women’s Lucky Jeans and Shorts for today only.

That’s right, TODAY ONLY. Get your fine asses in a pair of these soon. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Check out the entire Lucky Jeans line here, and be sure to enter the code whoorl25 to get the 25% discount. The offer expires at 11:59pm EST on September 3, 2010. (TODAY! DID I MENTION TODAY ONLY?))

  4. “I carried a watermelon”! Ha haha! You kill me!

And yes on both “Rum Raisin” and “Toast of New York” — man, we were hot stuff back then, weren’t we?

Lucky Brand has $30 off all their jeans through Monday on their website and in their stores (They’re my favorite jeans although their bermuda shorts are too slim through the thighs for me)

  6. Dude, I so remember Toast of New York by Revlon. I wore that in grade 7 and 8 along with Coffee Bean. I am so glad that my taste in make-up have become more refined. Shorts look cute, but I’ve never been a Bermuda short kind girl. Probably because I am so short I don’t need to look any shorter.
