I Think I’m in Love: Crocodile Creek Puzzles

cc2

The Whoorl family heartily endorses these puzzles by Crocodile Creek. We have almost all of them – the vibrantly-colored illustrations are adorable and they are super easy to put together. Overall puzzle size is 20″ by 30″, and each puzzle piece is the approximately the size of a toddler’s hand. Best of all, Wito can finish them on his own, which gives mama some much-needed resting time on the couch.

Not to mention the darling lunchbox-type carrying case!

Is that the cutest or WHAT?

So, here’s the deal. These puzzles retail for $22 at most locations, but for some reason, Barnes and Noble sells them for $14.95. If you have a little one on your Christmas list, I highly recommend them!

Oh, my son had that exact puzzle. It makes me a little nostalgic because now he’s into 100+ piece puzzles with Transformers or bloody T-Rex scenes on them.

(p.s. turns out you can’t use the carrying case as a toddler chair. just fyi.)

In my opinion puzzles are a big link to reading. Both of my kids loved puzzles, my oldest especially. Our favorite is the Find the Duck Puzzle from Usborne, unfortunately I see it is now only a hostess item. I got it 11 years ago and am keeping it for grand kids ;). http://www.usbornebooksathome.ca/usborne_books/browse.asp?css=1&cat=1&subject=jjb&subcat=gjs&id=1524
