Sniff sniff

First day of preschool.

1stday

Wito had a bit of a meltdown, but the school has since called to let me know he is doing just fine and having a great time.

I’m still finding it hard to do much around here, though. I miss that boy.

(Lord, please let him enjoy himself and make friends and um, not wet his pants.)

(Speaking of wet pants, we’re making strides in the potty training department!)

Congratulations! How weird is that first day? I thought I would be so productive…

Audrey managed to make it until the 2nd day before she wet her pants. So, good luck there.

With that many dinosaurs to play with (the tub looks to be overflowing), what boy wouldn’t be having a great time.

    He is truly adorable!

No matter how many “first days” you have (and I’ve had 4 so far), it’s always a bit of a sniffle-fest. And you do miss them. Even when they’ve been going to school for awhile!

Congrats with the potty training. I’m SO GLAD I only have ONE MORE kid to go through this with (and he’s only 2 so I haven’t started yet LOL)

It’s so hard! We are on week 4 of preschool. Try to enjoy your time. You’ve earned it. It gets easier each week, I think.

This is our second year of full on preschool and I am not sure who was more excited for the first day, Charlie or I. After drop off on his first day I sat at home and missed him, now, not so much. He’s having a great time and I get a little down time (if that is possible with a 10 month old tagging after me) so we are all better off!

I hope he had fun. Finn has all sorts of stories now that he’s in school. He also has a friend who likes to hit or bite. Um, ouch. Here’s hoping Wito doesn’t have a friend with such tendencies.

Ah, potty training. What fun! My just-turned-three daughter started pre-school a couple weeks ago as well. First day? There were tears and they were not from her. Now we are both adjusted to our new schedule. And I LOVE it!! Back to potty training. So my girl has been doing great with the pee-pee. But has actually been taking off her underpants and putting on a pull-up by herself to go poop. It’s like she just didn’t even want me to ASK her if she wanted to try sitting on the potty. So yesterday I decided that she’s doing SO well with the pee-pee that I was revoking potty treats unless she pooped. Five minutes later she yelled from the bathroom, “Mommy! I pooped!”. I swear to God she pooped on command for two jellybeans. And has continued to do so for the last several days. The hell??

I think by law Wito is suppose to share some of that cuteness. You should really check up on that.

Awww. Congrats on what I’m sure was a great first day. Don’t stress about the potty training. My daughter was greatly helped by the routine in preschool and her inherent one-uppsmanship nautre. If the other kids were gonna pee in the potty. She was gonna do it too, be first AND sing at the same time.

I have no idea where she gets her competitiveness. Really. Ahem.

I took my daughter to her first day of Pre-School. Very much tugging on the heart strings.

Her mom got the potty training part of it. I do take credit for seeing her first steps, though.

Awww! I’ve been traveling for work all week, so I missed this… but I hope that both you and Wito are doing great with the preschool thing now. It’s hard to let them go, but they do end up loving it and having a great time.

    awe, congrats mama! And hugs.

My son just walked away the first day of preschool last year. No real goodbye just a “See ya!”. I was proud but also a tad bit bummed…he was ready and didn’t need me anymore, at least on that very day.

    It’s it so bittersweet!

And here’s to dry undies ;) (I know plenty a mom hope that very same thing when school starts :) )
