Biteable. The cheeks alone are worth millions of kisses. You know, he really looks like a little person more and more these days – a very CUTE little person!
It gets harder, actually. Because you go from physical worries to more spiritual worries (as you alluded to) and you become mentally exhausted instead of just physically. But, trust me, it’s all good!! Just as you felt with his little quivering lip, you will feel again when you take away his favorite privilege for some crime he has committed (no, not THAT kind of a crime little Wito) and you see his look of astonishment and hatred flow over his face and you know it is aimed directly at YOU. But, you also know, that deep in his heart, he will love you for rules and regs, for being taught discipline and self-control. He will. Someday. With a lot of therapy. Get over it.
