January 2nd, 2007 9:37 pmGood for you. I’m sure it was a decision that was hard to make (pocketbook-wise) but easy (heart-wise).
I must confess that I’ve always been of the ‘why bother having a kid if you’re going to let someone else raise him?’ school. Having said that, half my friends did work full time and most of their kids are terrific adults. I guess I came to the conclusion, early in the game, that my heart wouldn’t allow me to work when my children were babies. It just hurt too much to leave them so well done, kid, and I’m sure the benefits of being with your boy will outweigh the financial loss.

January 2nd, 2007 11:12 pmCongratulations. That is taking your life into your hands, isn’t it?!
Good for you, and good for Anders (and Hubby, too)!

January 2nd, 2007 11:31 pmGah.
This has nothing to do with your post, but I tried emailing you and it opened up some crazy email window that rudely demanded I set up a .mac account, or something. But, that’s not the point here.
What IS, the point however, is that I was wondering whether you could tell me what program-hosting-thingie you use to create your blog, because I recently got my own domain name, and aside from other bloggers, I have no idea who to ask about this.
Much appreciated,
Luisa.

January 3rd, 2007 10:53 amSweet sassy molassy. Seriously, that is so great Sarah. It is really really weird at first, you keep thinking it is going to end and the old life will come back but then you get used to it. I absolutely love being home with Chloe. Maybe it’s because we can stay in our PJ’s till 2:00 or boycott showers or watch movies whenever we want…but I mostly think it is because I can’t take my eyes off of her and I feel so blessed to have this time with her. Enjoy…Anders is so lucky to have you home.

January 4th, 2007 9:50 amcongratulations! my husband and i decided i would stay home when i got pregnant (i’m due any minute…yipes!). it’s a hard decision to make, but, ultimately, the sacrifices we will have to make giving up my salary are small compared to the thought that i can raise our baby myself. it just didn’t make sense to miss out on this time with my baby and since it was doable (albeit, with some lifestyle changes) we figured we had to do it this way. i look forward to more blogging from a fellow stay-at-home mom!
