They're indoor only cats. I've lost too many cats to snakes and car accidents. I freaked out when the real estate person would not delay an inspection and I could not be there due to being delayed, I rang the real estate agents and *begged* them to please, put it off for an hour till I could be there and make sure the cats didn't get out. They refused, telling me that the woman had many appointments and had to do things in a certain order. I was sure the cats would not be inside when I got home, but they were. Things have a habit of turning out ok in the end, for the most part.. :) It'll be ok. But, leaving your child in the care of someone you don't know is a very scary thing. Personally I couldn't do it - but I know that the way I view it isn't the standard way.
