Scratch the previous questions. I have now resorted to one single request.

Must have a pulse.

Ok, I just got an email from my friend and she’s checking in the Swedish nanny pool to see if anyone is available. I’ll send you an email when I hear anything.

    Best of luck!

I’m not great with kids, but I could live in your basement comfortably. I don’t steal and I shower regularly. Have pulse.

I’m sure you’ve tried all the online babysitter/Nanny registries.

Are you open to illegals? Is that term totally non-PC?

Not sure if you have enough time for this….
but I went to Nanny School, it’s in Ohio but they place all over the world and maybe they already have somebody in your area? Check out their website~ http://www.nanny-governess.com/
    I promise I am not a paid spokesperson. :)

I am pretending like I don’t have to go back to work in six more weeks. I keep telling everyone that I’m going to work from home, but really? I haven’t *officially* cleared that with my company. I asked them about it six months ago and they said it sounded ok, but I haven’t followed up.

And if they say no? I’M SCREWED. So maybe I’ll just ship myself out your way for a few months. I’m sure Asher and Anders would hit it off royally.

how about putting up something at uci and/or other colleges, that is how my cousins found all of there “nannies.” or ask around to all the babysitters and house keepers of people you know, someone is bound to know someone in need of that sort of work. good luck-wish i still lived there, i would drive 2 hrs. to take care of my little friend.

one more thing, all the folks over in the mts of colorado use the nanny service that is advertised in the back of town and country. only thing is i think it is sort of the real deal-salary/room and board, but hey you never know.

How about Craigslist? Either posting an ad or looking at anything posted? Does that sound like a scary prospect? I’m not sure. It’s just such a handy site….

How frustrating. I’ve been babysitting on and off and love it. Too bad I don’t live closer I’d help out in a pinch. I can’t seem to get enough of babies.

i think i would nix the craigslist. it seems to pan out only for partner swappers and sex offenders.
