Mykonos Dress

Administrative Notice: I am changing the What I’m Not Buying Today category to I Think I’m in Love because, well, now that the shopping mandate is over, I might actually be buying it. Wouldn’t want to lead you astray, lovelies.

$358, Anthropologie

(However, I am most decidely NOT buying this dress for 358 DOLLARS. Good Lord, Anthropologie.)

  1. i’d SO buy this if it came with a plane ticket to greece.

    anthropologie kills me.

kat’s last blog post..i want this tshirt.

  2. Joe Elliott says:

In greece they call that a tablecloth. Cute but outrageous (typical Anthro) prices. Bet you could whip one up yourself or bribe a friend. :)

  3. Oh, how I heart Anthropologie. But yeah, not for $358.

  4. $358??? That dress better make me look thinner and clear any and all breakouts whilst wearing it. That’s all I’m say’in…

  5. Yeah, seriously, Anthropologie. If you’re going to charge that much for a dress, at least don’t trick me into thinking I could probably make one for $15.00. (Not that I can sew, AT ALL. But in my dreams I am a brilliant seamstress.)

  6. yes totally love the dress…the price is insane.
    but that dress is gorg!

  7. Obviously Anthropologie is not going through a recession. Either that or they are seriously deluded. But for anyone who charges over $100 for a lamp shade, I would go with the deluded diagnosis.

  8. Fantastic dress. I absolutely love Anthropologie. My secret to getting a good price there — watch for it to go on sale via their website. Then, if you’re lucky enough, they’ll still have your size available. But if you’re not, don’t give up — call a store and they can check other stores around the country until they (hopefully) find it for you.

  9. I love Anthropologie but yeah what the hell is up with their pricing?! Sadly, their clothes would fit my left tit so it makes the struggle not to purchase less difficult to me. ;-)

Would you wear a flower in your hair too? I like the flower. It says, “let’s dance and drink fruity cocktails in the sunshine.”

  10. tera Stephens says:

cute dress but wtf anthropologie? the quality of your clothes is a step up from urban outfitters. u are not saks, u are not neimans…
lower your prices. the economy for christ sake!!!

  11. Yeah, Anthropologie clearly lives in its own make-believe economy where a day dress can cost nearly $400 with taxes and all.

  12. Dude, you would totally ROCK that dress, esp. with a red flower in your hair. The price is ridiculous, but if I were you, I would totally do it.

Now…I’m off to think seriously about sewing one of my own…

  13. So pretty, but so pricy. It needs to be less.

  14. this dress costs so much because it’s made by Tibi. It’s a designer brand that’s sold at places like Neiman Marcus. If this were one of Anthropologie’s in-house brands, I can guarantee it’d be cheaper, but it’s not.

  15. Lots of cute stuff like this here:

Stuff to fit your body, cute, cute, cute stuff, and so very much more affordable than Anthropologie.

I swear, I’m not spam. Check it out. Love.
