Thank God I’m Drinking Margaritas

We have just surpassed the 65-minute mark of non-stop, 194-decibel, Backyardigans theme singing and he’s showing no signs of stopping in the near future.

Bottoms up, my friends. Bottoms up. Happy Friday!

The Backyardigans obsession continues… from whoorl on Vimeo.

That is ridiculously adorable. Go Wito! Of course, I only have to hear it once…until my own Backyardigans-lovin’ kiddo learns to sing the theme song for himself!

Ohmygod, I LOVE how he sings with such gusto!

Of course, I’m not there listening to it, non-stop. I have a video player with a pause button. Cute as a bug, though!

But I’m pretty sure if you share that margarita with him, he’ll quiet right down.

That’s it. I am coming to California and stealing that kid. He is so damn cute!! And I just happen to LOVE the Backyardigans, so I’d sing right along with him.

You’re going to be so glad you have video of this kind of stuff when he’s older. You just want to eat them up at this age.

I’ve now threatened to steal and eat your child in one comment.

“Pirattitude” (sp?) of Backyardigans fame is in heavy rotation ’round these parts, so I feel your pain. Although I’m fairly certain one of those margaritas would significantly reduce my UNENDING HEADACHE.

Mine watched Madagascar and keeps running around shaking his 6 year old bootay while screaming “I like to…” and then he waits for me to complete it and if I don’t complete it? Non-stop.. “I like to…” over and over and over again.

    And I’m out of beer.

If Wito disappears it is because I have temporarily stolen him. What a cutie.

My little one thought that was quite funny, so funny in fact I turned on the Backyardigans for the first time right now and he’s laughing. Hysterically.

    I’m in trouble.

I love the margarita on the table as proof of your attempts at mind numbing. Your little one is too freaking cute! I (almost) want one for myself…but only if he is a super-genious like yours!

Yeah, ok. I keep asking my kids what are those thing’s names, why are they different colors, and why do they annoy me so much? I’m sure that show is highly intellectual. I just don’t find it appealing. (It’s almost creepy)

What an awesome job carrying a tune! My son also sings theme songs repeatedly, although now that he is six it’s the Star Wars theme and Indiana Jones theme OVER AND EFFING OVER! I didn’t know little kids could actually not sound BAD when they sang. Damn it, I’m jealous. Wito has a musical career ahead of him! Keep taping him cause the hits will just keep coming. Whenever I get the mail I still sing to myself “We just got a letter! I wonder who it’s from!”
