Floored

I want to thank each and every one of you for your kind words and love for Shana and her family yesterday. So far, your overwhelming generosity has raised $4,100 (!!!) to help support them through this unimaginable time. That right there makes my heart burst with love. So, thank you. Thank you so much.

I’ve added the Love For Thalon button to my sidebar so people can continue to share their support for Shana’s family. Please feel free to add the button to your own website if you would like to spread the word.

I think we just want to do something. I don’t know you or Shana but I read your blogs everyday and have for a long time. I feel like I know you guys and as a mother, her story just tears at me. As mothers, we just want to “make things right” and obviously, we can’t in this case. I wish I could have given more.

Silly question: I’d love to put this in my sidebar but … how do I go about doing so? I can copy the image and upload it but it doesn’t maintain the link.

Great question. Just upload the image to your site and link it to this:

Oh, Whoorl, that makes my heart burst, too. I’m with Paula – I think it helped make us feel like we were doing SOMETHING.

Ditto what Metalia said. The love, it is overwhelming me today, and well, the past week, really.

So so proud to know such an amazing group of people who rally around those they love, and even those they don’t, in trying times.
