I just got back from Maternal Diagnostics where my amniotic fluid had dropped from a 5.86 to 5.73, but still above the dreaded 5.0 induction baseline. Thank goodness- I’m just not ready to be induced yet. The printout did show 4 contractions during the test, though.
Oh, and this weekend? The orders to rest and drink fluids? Yeah, that turned into a 9-hour car-shopping bonanza in Los Angeles yesterday. I KNOW! I’M STUPID! But we got a really pretty car! And I drank lots of water!
My next test will be on Thursday morning. Until then, fluids and bonbons on the couch. I PROMISE!

Glad to hear you’re still doing well. Hope you’re keeping cool – the hot weather has now made it here to Michigan where it’s over 100 degrees today. That’s so not supposed to happen here.
Yikes. That’s really hot. It’s not supposed to be that hot in CA. It’s supposed to be perfectly warm and sunny, but not too hot, and never too cold, year round in California. WHY are the weather gods not following protocol?? Hang in there!

Glad the weather has improved for you! But thanks EVER SO MUCH for sending the heat wave this way. It will be 102 tomorrow with a heat index of 110 and that means going outside will kill me. But I think it is a good excuse for ice cream, yes?

Sorry you are having to deal with the heat. I am glad I am not preggers dealing with 100+ temps. Today the high is supposed to be 102º but their weather guessing has been low these last few weeks.

why is it that mothers and expecting mothers are the only ones that can actually see an ultrasound correctly…such as notice body parts etc.? i have never understood that. maybe i am just blind! that lil whoorlito is coming soon…i am feeling it!
