Growing Out Your Hair – An Illustration

I just love this illustration I found on Pinterest. It’s a perfect guide, really.

  1. Love this! I am bookmarking this to take with me to the stylist as I grow out my cut. I made the dumb (in retrospect) move of going from long to short and shaggy in one move (should have gone shorter gradually). (I forgot that my wavy curly hair just sticks out and puffs up when it’s short instead of actually doing anything stylish. Then by the end of the day it starts to look like an old lady’s roller-set comb out).

  2. HI!

    I love this. I love number 1 and 6.

You inspired this post…. well, my mom really inspired the post, but you played a big role.

Can’t wait to see your pixie that I am pretty sure you will be rocking soon.

  3. Too bad that time lapse isn’t 2 months instead of 2 years

  4. So pretty :)

  5. Sigh. Wish I wasn’t starting from bald to grow mine out! It will take about 3 months before it looks like it did here: On the plus side, I’m done with chemo again!

    • Hi Jen! I’m so glad to hear you’re done with chemo…keep me posted on what’s going on with you, okay? (Hair and life. xoxo)

  6. The only problem is, those bangs would take me the entire time to grow all the way out! Growing mine out from straight across bangs for about a year and it is taking forever.

  7. Hey There. I found your weblog the use of msn. This is a really smartly written article. I’ll be sure to bookmark it and come back to read extra of your helpful info. Thank you for the post. I will certainly return.

  8. Love this I am going to print it out so the hairdresser will finally GET it I’m trying to grow my hair!!
