French Clothing Great Bernard Lacoste Dies

Why is this so important, you ask? Well, my husband has a slight obsession with Lacoste shirts.

It’s a sickness, people.

Don’t believe me?

Thank you, Mr. Lacoste. Thank you for outfitting my husband 365 days of the year.

wow, how cute do YOU GUYS look?

i just WISH my husband had an obsession with lacoste shirts instead of grey hanes tshirts. take that pic of your husband’s closet and replace them ALL with grey tshirts, and that’s my husband’s wardrobe. ;)

i think my favorite in the pics is the orange…

It is sad to hear of Lacoste’s passing. But, I have to say you two are one of the best looking couples I have seen in a very long time. I would rather my husband wear Lacoste over the plain stained t-shirts he does wear.

That highly organized closet, its color range, its allure…makes me wanna cry, it’s so beautiful!

    Rest in peace, Lacoste.

I love how there are two black, two white, and one of each of the other colors. What a nice, neat closet you have. The shirts are almost perfectly spaced.

I wish Matt would wear a Lacoste shirt just once. Sigh. I love my mad scientist, but it’s a rare occasion to see him dressed up. And yes, “dressed up” means Lacoste.

man. that is some serious obsessing! but, seriously? not many guys can pull off all those colors and with the collar up and look stylish and handsome… and your husband can. so, obsess away. ;)

This is classic! Does his closet really look that way or did you stage it for the photo shoot ? ;-) The collars all perched up at attention….that is hilarious.
I’m feeling all nostalgic for home now….Charlottesville, VA. (Lacoste-central)

At least he wears different color shirts!! Toby wears five of the same color! ‘Cept he’s addicted to the Banana (Republic). It’s embarrassing to walk in there with him. He blends in.

I love the new and pretty banner!!! Neato!

The fortunate thing is that he’s so damn good looking he can wear whatever he pleases and look absolutely amazing. ;)

I agree with the other ladies - he looks amazing, so even if it is a sickness at least its an easy one to deal with.

Commenters remorse! I feel bad–I hope you know I didn’t mean hilarious in a bad way, I mean hilarious in a cute, endearing way!

And I love when people have a “signature” style.

Rosie, you are too sweet! And yes, it is hilarious in a “cute, endearing way”, but also in a freakish OCD way, too. ;)

I’m contemplating showing you the other half of my husband’s closet…it isn’t quite so organized. In fact, I don’t know how he finds a damn thing in there. :)

I just wish I could my husband to wear something in COLOR… other than blue, olive, or black. Occasionally, he’ll wear a dark red. He refuses to wear bright colors. *sigh*

Good lookers can wear any damn thing they choose and carry it off! Good for him. It’s almost like a “Be True to your School” look. I love it!

HaHa! That’s great! (I’ll say it as well, the shirt part, not the death)

That picture of his hanging shirts is actually a really nice photo! I love how he not only loves his shirts, but loves to pop that collar, you can’t wear those without completing that last step ; )

The only thing that would make this slightly better is if the shirts were color coordinated in the closet.

I remember when I was a teenager back in Queens, NY being so intimidated by someone wearing a Lacoste shirt. It signified wealth, yachts, and polo playing guys who vacationed at Newport. Then I realized it was just a stupid shirt with an alligator on it and I could buy one at Macy’s. And pink never did much for my pale skin. But your hubby looks great. Does he play polo?
