Remember Celeste?

When Celeste informed us that her hair was actually curly, the majority of voters thought Jodie Foster’s wavy bob would be a perfect look for her.

Celeste went for it! From her email:

Here’s where I am at right now: my hair is finally long enough to produce some curl! I really haven’t done anything to it since, just a little trim in the back a couple of months ago. I am on my “no-poo” regimen again, hoping it would revive my curls (I use the DevaCurl products and swear by them!) and  progressing towards my new goal: a below the shoulder, lightly layered cut with (maybe?) long or side bangs.

    Ooh, I use the Deva Curl products as well! I prefer the Low-Poo to the No-Poo, however. I think the No-Poo leaves my hair too oily. I think the Mist-er Right curl rejuvenating spray is fantastic; it smells great and doesn’t add any extra product, it just kicks whatever you’re using back into gear.

    Thank you for all the compliments! I actually feel happier when my hair is curly, though I have to say that it’s pretty easy to straighten too.
    I use Low-Poo, followed by One Condition, B-Leave in (It gives me a little volume) and Angell. I make my own reviving mist with some bottled water and lavender or sweet almond oil.
    The only drawback: it takes forever to dry, especially if I use a styling gel, so when I’m really in a hurry I just blow dry it straight with a paddle brush and wear it in a ponytail.
