Hi! I had an ablation and it has, quite literally, changed my life. I’m happy to answer any questions you might have.

        Good!

I realized I probably should have clarified after I posted that. :)

It sounds dramatic but I feel like I got my life back.

Oh my goodness, RUN, do not walk, to the phone and schedule that ablation TODAY!! I put it off for almost 3 years (why, I don’t know, some weird fantasy that maybe I’d want that fourth kid) but finally pulled the trigger last fall and WOW what a game changer. Without getting too gory, I do not miss all the annoying “accidents” that would still happen despite ultra tampons, pads and Thinx underwear, I do not miss being constantly anemic and exhausted, and I adore adore adore how I don’t have anything anymore! Let me know if you have questions, but truly it is an easy peasy procedure with happy anesthesia and you are just fine in two days.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong but the code isn’t working for me for the brushes. :(

You weren’t kidding on those brushes. Just bought a set. Even the shipping from the UK was reasonable. Thank you!

I had thought about an ablation, went with Mirena first because my Doctor wasn’t comfortable doing a ablation when I was still in my “child-bearing” years, despite informing her we were done. Anyway, fast forward a year, started seeing a Naturopathic doctor for my thyroid and we realized my hormones were all out of whack (probably because of my thyroid issues and the Mirena). After 2 years of working on my hormones, and 7 months without the Mirena, I am back to my normal “before children” cycles.

It takes some work (supplements and dietary changes), but no procedures needed.
