    The ballerina video was sublime. So beautiful and dreamy. The article for kindergarten Mommy’s had me weeping at my screen. Had to get up and go get a tissue. And then the article about comments on recipe blogs absolutely killed me. I was cracking up and sharing it with everyone. Such great links – thank you so much for sharing!

    As soon as I saw the photo of Big Sur (above), I said “Yesss”.
    And yes, the next time you come to California and you truly want to decompress, Big Sur is the place for you. I live just north of there on the Monterey Peninsula (Pacific Grove), and there’s a special kind of magic that can only be found in this part of California and Big Sur. There are way less people here, you can find a secluded beach or forest and actually hear yourself think. The beauty is almost out of this world, the ocean crashing down on the cliffs below and the intoxicating smell of the redwood trees as you walk through forests with rivers and beautiful smooth rocks you can sun yourself on. It’s tranquility at it’s finest with places to stay and good food to eat. Do yourself a favor and when you can, take a trip to California’s central coast and see Big Sur (as well as Carmel, Monterey, Pacific Grove & Carmel Valley). Your whole family will love it.
