The Best Summer Clothing Combos

summerh

Summer is here, summer is here! Although I have a sweet spot for cool weather layers, the punchy colors and breezy fabrics of summer are always a welcome change come June. Instead of layering, I try to focus on fun pairings to keep things lively. Some things are definitely better together, so I’ve rounded up my favorite summer clothing combos for the season.

Linen Button Front Dress  ::  Tropical Love Bandana ::  Six Pocket Tee ::  Polka Dot Shorts ::  Sleeveless Chambray Top ::

Carnival Stripe Skirt  ::  Cargo Vest  ::  Floral Dress  ::  White Denim Vest  ::  Regatta Capri Pants

Summer clothing rule #1? Make it fun. Summer clothing rule #2? Make it machine washable, thankyouverymuch. All of the above items are machine washable, which is always the first thing I look for when buying a new garment. (This lady ain’t got time for dry clean only.) And speaking of laundry…

Better together is right.

That little pink dress is so cute!

I just got the CUTEST striped ballet shoes at Goodwill for 1.49 yesterday. Now I have to wait for a non-rainy day to wear them! :-)

Wait! Downy and Bounce? Are we supposed to use two fabric softeners? Is there a reason for this?

I too fancy that coral number. Perfect for SoCal!
