BeautyMint

Have you all heard of BeautyMint? It’s an individualized skincare system matching specific problems with targeted solutions. By getting to know your skin through skin care expert Nerida Joy’s consultation (the same one she uses at her famed Beverly Hills clinic), a customized skin care routine is developed for you.

BeautyMint sent me some samples after I completed their skin care consultation, and I’ve been using the products for two months now. (I wanted to make sure I had time to form an accurate opinion before writing a post.) Verdict? The products are really good.

You guys, I love love love love LOVE the BeautyMint Essential Cleanser. I can’t think of one skin type that wouldn’t benefit from this cleanser – it’s mild, non-drying, and has a subtle, fresh scent. If you have a Clarisonic, listen to me right now. You know how you need a cleanser that has a gel-like consistency so it doesn’t just drip right off your face while using the Clarisonic? This cleanser is it, folks. It stays put! It smells great! It doesn’t cause any irritation when removing eye makeup!

The Ultra Replenishing Serum is gentle, and can be used without any additional moisturizer on normal/combination skin. In fact, it would be a perfect moisturizer in the humid summer months. I also tried the Sculpting Peptide treatment, but let’s be honest, I’m a 2-step (3-step MAX) girl, and I got really lazy with that one.

One of the things I love about the BeautyMint products across the board is the combination of ingredients. Everything seems so gentle and soothing, and that is a huge plus for my sensitive skin.

All in all, I really like the products and will continue to use the cleanser and moisturizer. My only beef is that the products come in a complete system, and from what I gather, you can’t order just one item. (Please let me order more essential cleanser on its own, thankyouverymuch.) If BeautyMint would sell their products á la carte, I would be in heaven.

If you are looking for a new skincare routine, you should definitely check the system out. BeautyMint is offering $10 off your first month’s skincare kit with the code WHOORL10. (New members only, expires May 31, 2012.) Be sure to let me know what you think!

Well, now I’m just sad. I’m always looking for a better skincare routine…but can’t give this a spin as I’m in Canada :(
