How to work with side-swept bangs. I have a hard time getting mine to lay nicely across my forehead without meandering into my eyes, and they’re not silky the way they are when I leave the salon. I suspect you can help!

K, I fix my hair in the morning before work and I work out at lunch. Inevitably, by the end of the day my hair is in a ponytail. I would love to see some options on restyling hair or professional looks with hair up (i.e. not a librarian bun)!

I’d like to see tutorials and reviews on hair and makeup products found “over the counter” so to speak, not at salons, just at Target or equivilant retailer.

I’d love to learn more about what to ask for in the stylist’s chair. I get a mystery haircut pretty much every time I go to the salon. My artsy 9 yo doesn’t want haircuts any more because he’s learned that when he says, “I just need a little trim, and no “Mo bangs” please,” the stylist hears, “A short layered boy’s cut with blunt bangs, please.” Maybe learning some stylist-speak would help.

I’m sort of new so maybe this has been done, but I would love to see some posts that cover current hair trends for the upcoming season. Possibly a look at some of the hottest looks the tutorials as to how to get them?

Same as Alexandra, I’m new here, so you might have covered this. I have a very specific question: I have fine, but very oily hair. So basically a little bit oily turns into gross looking with me, and practically any product that I’ve used turns my hair into oil city by the end of the day. Maybe I’m putting in these products wrong? So if you could show proper use of some good non-oily products, that’d be great!
Also, all the magazines say it’s bad to shampoo every day, but if I don’t, it looks like I haven’t in about a week! Any suggestions?

YES!!! Some tutorials or ideas on “Day-3” hair. Would love some ideas on something other than just throwing it in a pony tail (for chin-shoulder length wavy-curly big Mexican hair).

    :)

    Thank you! :)

Definitely more reviews. Maybe more that include different skin types and or hair types. Some sunscreen reviews for sensitive oily skin would be very helpful as my rosacea seem irritated by anything these last few years, but I really need to get back to daily sunscreen because my complexion isn’t as nice looking this winter from forgoing sunscreen this summer on days I’m spending in the office.

Oh I ditto that! I would love to see some ideas for “day 3” hair! Lately I’ve been giving up and washing mine every two, which I don’t love to do.

Showing all those crazy infomercial hair gadgets in action!

And real world tutorials are always welcome, because I am completely inept with my hair! :-)
