Update — Richard

Remember Richard?

richard_before_shot

His dilemma about whether to keep growing out or throw in the towel for the summer was made into a class project for the Sono Academy, one of the hottest new salon schools in the Northeast.  The project included not only his haircut, but color and styling advice.

Drumroll, please!

Academy Director Thea Tsiranides cut Richard’s hair similar to the winning Option #1 and enhanced his shade with a demi-permanent color by Wella. According to Thea, the haircut gives Richard “a more progressive look” and can be styled either flat to the head or in a “messy, spiky” fashion. Thea used Rusk Wired Flexible Styling Cream to create the look.

You look fantastic, Richard!

Hi All! we are so pleased with Richards look, and I think he’s enjoying it as well. I would like to clairify that Rena Tsopanides was the student who created Richards fresh new style… It has been such an inspiration, the students want to do a featured monthly makeover! Thank you for the great experience, it has been alot of fun!

The good news is hair grows back.
Will you go for #2 this winter?
    Hope so!

Very nicely done! You look great- and happy. If your not smiling post-hairct, then something isn’t right. A good haircut helps chanel the mind and relax the soul. I’m still in search of the right one myself.

Wow! A Hollywood make-over that makes all his contemporaries and those many years his junior head back to the drawing board.

Sono Academy, its creative leader and students, A+. You met the challenge beautifully. Will you come to Texas? Of course, you will, but how soon is the question!

    Kudos to all.

I gotta say, I’m not sure about the top on the side view. It sort of looks like two different haircuts on top. And I might spike up the front and pull it forward and to the side a little bit, rather than pulling it back.

But overall? It’s a really good look. But Richard – can you do it yourself?

    ;-)
