Pleated Silk Tee

pink

Pleated Silk Tee, Martin + Osa

I haven’t shopped for almost a month. A MONTH. OF NO SHOPPING. I need this shirt, people. I need it bad.

1. It’s my very favorite shade of pink.

2. In fact, it reminds me of my glasses, seen here on the dashing Brandon.

(I met up with some incredibly cool bloggers Friday night. I was completely overserved and forced people to wear my glasses. The end.)

((You really should read Brandon’s recap here. It may or may not include the most hilariously awesome photo created by Secret Agent Josephine in the history of mankind.))

3. Back to the shirt – not that I would wear the shirt and the glasses together, mind you.

4. It would be a lovely addition to my Valentine’s Day ensemble. Yeah, I might wear pink on Valentine’s Day, what of it?

5. I have dropped a few hints to the husband about this being the Best Goddamn Valentine’s Present Ever, but I’m not sure he is comprehending.

6. SOMEONE PLEASE BUY THIS FOR ME. GAH.

But you HAVE to wear the pleated tee and the glasses together! Especially on Valentine’s Day! Look–if I wore glasses I’d want yours (snazzy) and would wear them with my new pink Target Valentine’s tee. The world needs cheerful attire! Or something…

I’m looking through Leah’s photos. Oh. My. Word. They are KILLING ME.

I cannot decide who looks better in the glasses – Brandon or Danny.

Looking forward to Desperate Bloggers 2.0 next year ;)

Is it considered real shopping if done online? Not that I mean to enable you, but that is one sweet top. And her hair reminds me of the subtle waves/curls video you put together on HT, so how can you NOT get it ;)

can this be worn under a cardigan?

(because if it can, i may have to buy one…and i mean, i could always accidentally click on TWO and then, i mean, what would i do with two? i mean, i’d obviously need to find SOMEONE who could do me a favor and take it off my hands…)

It could be worn all the damn time, Ali. Because IT IS PERFECT.

D’s going to buy it for me, so life is good. (Unless it looks heinous.)

I’ll take your glasses and your hair in exchange for one silk tee.
And not to be a total loser, but have you tried it on? Maybe it looks like crap on?
    Yeah. That’s what I thought.

i feel your pain. i really do. i’m job hunting and have imposed a shopping moratorium for the past FIVE. MONTHS. literally. do you know how sad and miserable that is? well, after christmas, i had some santa money, and there were so many glorious glorious sales and… i just couldn’t help myself. i had an orgy in bcbg. but everything was FIFTY PERCENT OFF! and then ANOTHER thirty percent on top of that! i mean really. it would be FOOLISH to not buy in those circumstances, right? anyway. i’m back to the no-shopping-hell. and can i tell you that when i’m foolish enough to go to the mall, for any reason, i can be found walking thru bloomie’s whimpering? literally whimpering?

PS – that lovely shirt reminds me a lot of this jcrew meringue top which i MUST have – http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WomenBrowse/Women_Feature_Assortment/NewArrivals/shirts/PRDOVR~11526/11526.jsp
