Barracuda Blowout

Seriously, Barracuda is my new anthem. Within 1.24 seconds of opening my eyes this morning, there it was.

BumbadadumbadadumbadadumbadadumBABUMBUM….

I hopped out of bed, showered, and proceeded to blow my hair straight for the first time since last year. (On a RAINY DAY, no less.) Turns out, it’s not so 70’s rocker when I blow it straight.

Suddenly I morphed into Simon Cowell, brazenly critiquing my hair for playing it too safe. I mean, COME ON, are you going to bring it OR NOT?! At least the Ann Wilson has some originality!

Whatevs.

All in all, I’m pleased- it’s like the best of both worlds. Meeting with world dignitaries? I think I would go with the blowout. A normal day at the beach followed by margaritas? Totally rocking the Ann.

And the world is right again.

I’m pretty sure you could bring back the body wave and 4 foot high bangs and rock the hell out of it.

How did you get them to go from blunt cut to side swept!?

(I’m the DIYer from a few weeks ago who DIYed some blunt bangs before New Years. They’re cute but I’m sick of them!!)

It’s my Magic Man Magic Hands, baby.

(No really, I blow dry them a different way, which I would explain right now but my husband just handed me a margarita so, um, bye. Later, I promise.)

Oh dear sweet Saint of Hair (who is that, really?), you really look at peace again. I’m a nobody, but I did call for a day of mourning for you, and all flat irons to be set at half heat. Good to hear you’re coming out of it, though. And yep, only you could not just salvage your hair, but make it hottielicious. I think I just coined a new word.

Hair (and life for that matter) is waaaay more fun when you have different ways of rockin’ it. And you, my friend pull it off any and all ways no problemo. Burn, burn, burn it to the wick, gurl.

My husband has ruined that song for me forever, as he sings it “Bear your cooter.” Classy with a capital K.

I didn’t think it was possible, but reading your blog is more enjoyable with Heart rocking in the background. And look on the bright side, at least you’re sporting the Heart hair from the early years .. I mean, have you seen what happened to those chicks?

THESE DREAMS GO ON WHEN I CLOSE MY EEEEYYYYYYEEES!

I love! Barracuda. And the way your hair looks when it looks 70’s-esque. Very awesome.

Ann was very fashion-forward, and she didn’t even know it.

More important question– if you had to, can you still wear it back, or do the sides fall out?

    Oh, and I heart Heart!

Unfortunately, I look like Paul Revere with a ponytail. Hott.
