Stats Smhats

I’m not really into whoorl’s stats. I check them maybe twice a month- just to see a top-level overview of how many people are visiting. This behavior is quite baffling, considering I am one of the most analytical people on the planet. It must be my way of keeping afloat above the black hole of stats obsession. I can see it now- a twitchy recluse hiding out in my dark closet, only the laptop’s glow illuminating my face. Yes, statcounter has THAT kind of power.

I took some time this weekend to delve a little deeper, mainly due to the incessant emails I have been receiving this past week informing me that YOU ARE AT THE BANDWIDTH LIMIT. PLEASE CONTACT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR IMMEDIATELY. Which I totally read out loud in a robot voice everytime I receive one. I AM A BANDWIDTH ROBOT HERE TO DESTROY YOU AND YOUR MAKER.

Bandwidth limit? Are you kidding me? I remember last year, yelling to D, “OH MY GAH! 15 people added me to their favorites this month! DOUBLE WOOT!”

I guess things have changed. And I’m pleasantly surprised! And maybe a little confused. Ok, and a teensy-weensy freaked out.

But as Bruce Almighty would say, it’s good. It’s good. It’s guhhhhd.

However, I now have to pump a little more money into this endeavor to support the bandwidth issue. I think you know where I’m going with this…

Yes, there may or may not be advertisements appearing in my sidebar soon.

AND YOU WILL LIKE IT OR THE BANDWIDTH ROBOT WILL DESTROY YOU AND YOUR MAKER.

And when the big $ starts rolling in, let’s just remember, I called it.
I will happily click on every ad you put up.
Maybe I should put up ads, I had almost 25 people visit my blog last month if you include my wife. I should look into that…

I tell all my friends about you- that might be connected to your bandwidth problem, sorry. I don’t even remember how I found your site, but I check it all the time- not like a stalker or anything- just because you’re pretty hip and happen, you live in Cali and you like booze. That is entertainment.

AHHH..there is no denying it now. If you get a bandwidth notice…you’ve made it! I have to admit, I get a little obsessed with my stats too. Maybe I am making up for some insecurity from high school…and sometimes it freaks me out too. But I have not gotten a bandwidth request, so I stand in awe of you.
I am in agreement with hooking Anders and Chloe up…faux hawks unite!

I refuse to set up stats on my and my wife’s blogs because I know we’d act like crack addicts with them. Right now, we’re addicted to the number of comments people leave and how many times they’re viewed, and we only get 2 or 3 comments!! Plus, we spend too much time as it is reading your blog every day.

I read your blog and I love it! You have a great formula
    1) suspence – will she get the nanny? or will she stay home?
    2) cuteness. how much cuter can Anders get? Wait,is he cuter than my baby?
    3) short posts. these can be read by stay at homers like myself who get the computer pulled away by little hands. There’s a nice feeling of accomplishment of finishing a post.

Keep on writing .. cuz I’m readin’!

You are hilarious. I’m a lurker, but love to come in and check on the Whoorlito. Also, your wedding pictures were beautiful. You’re just so pretty that I could pinch your cheeks! Or at least ask what kind of makeup you use –

And how funny is this? I remember the time (from SAJ’s blog) that she brought you Sprinkles cupcakes and now when I see or hear about it on TV I think about you two!

Congratulations, Whoorl. I’m two years into this, and I’ve yet to crack 300 readers a day.
