I’m A Cliche

I got food poisoning in Mexico.

I feel horrible and am starting to wonder if I will ever catch a break.

That’s all for today.

Oh no! Take it easy, and hopefully you’ll be back hitting the cerveza in no time.

Sorry you’re having such a hard time. I had my son three weeks after you, and I love reading your blog to see how you guys are doing. I haven’t had any mastitis or thrush to complain about, but I did have some awesome pregnancy related hives all over my legs for a couple of weeks, and I thought I was going to lose it! It will get better!

I had it in Mexico too. And in the Cancun airport. And on the plane.

    I wish you a speedy recovery, W.

Hmm, so “food poisoning” is what they call “puking from too much Cerveza” these days, huh?

Seriously, though, I hope you feel better! YUCK. Food poisoning bites.

Do they have Phenergan in Mexico? It will help with the nausau. Feel better.

Ummm, I so could have written Kris’ comment:

“I had it in Mexico too. And in the Cancun airport. And on the plane.”

I just got back from Cancun last week and totally got ill. Just be glad you’re not up close and personal with the airplane seat pocket barf bag….that was one of the worst experiences ever.

Anyway – I feel for you! It won’t last long, though. =)

Um, you didn’t eat a burrito out of a van did you? I suppose they don’t have tacos on wheels in Mexico.

From sore tits and the crazy cracked out baby on roids to food poisoning… sounds like karma or payback. You better start saying nice things about Rachele Ray.

But just think of the weight-loss possibilities! One good bout of food poisoning and all that baby weight just disappears!

OH NO you poor thing! The best thing to prevent it is to take a shot of Pepto Bismol in the morning noon and evening. It keeps your stomach coated and has worked for me everytime!
I hope you feel better soon!

Yes, I have had plenty of “food poisoning” mornings… after serenading my family the night before thanks to the liter of alcohol I poured down my throat.

    Hope the poison passes quickly.

I feel your pain. I was fine until the day we left our honeymoon. We were sitting int he lobby of our hotel waiting for the shuttle to the airport when it hit. And it continued to hit for about a month. I think mine was an intestinal parasite. Best diet I ever went on, but man was I miserable.

Jeez, all this complaining about the pain from the sisters, the lack of sleep, the food poisoning….

Whoorl, I have only one thing to say:

You better shape up your attitude before you get home.

(Sorry, D, but you earned that. Forever.)

Get well soon, cuz. Love to da Bishop and Lini and L and A.
